Saqib Masood (“we,” “us,” or “our”) operates Resume Builder – FoobarDigital (“the App”). This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you create CVs, save drafts, export documents, and interact with advertisements in the App.
1. Information You Provide
The App allows you to enter information for your CV, including:
- Your name, email address, phone number, and location.
- Employment history, education, skills, achievements, and professional summary.
- LinkedIn, portfolio, and other links you choose to include.
- An optional profile photo.
- Job descriptions pasted into the CV insights feature.
- CV information and photos contained in backup files you import.
Providing this information is your choice. Please avoid entering unnecessary sensitive information or another person’s information without permission.
If you contact us by email, we receive your email address and any information you include in your message.
2. Local Storage and CV Processing
CV editing, document previews, and CV insights are designed to operate on your device.
Saved drafts and selected profile photos are stored locally on your device or, when using the web version, in your browser’s local storage. The App does not provide automatic cloud synchronization of your CV drafts.
We do not intentionally send your CV contents, selected profile photos, or pasted job descriptions to advertising providers.
Local storage does not mean that all App activity is offline. Advertising services may connect to their servers and process the information described below.
3. Advertising and Automatically Collected Information
The App uses Unity Ads and AppLovin to display advertisements.
Depending on the SDK configuration, your device settings, permissions, location, and consent choices, these providers may collect or receive:
- Advertising identifiers, such as Android Advertising ID or Apple IDFA, where available and permitted.
- IP address and approximate location derived from it.
- Device model, operating system, language, and other technical information.
- App information and advertising-related usage events.
- Advertisement impressions, clicks, and interactions.
- Diagnostic, security, and fraud-prevention information.
- Advertising preferences and consent status.
Advertising may be contextual or personalized, depending on the configuration and applicable requirements. These providers may combine information with data from other sources and share information with their service providers or advertising partners under their own policies.

4. How Information Is Used
Information is processed to:
- Create, edit, preview, and export your CV.
- Save drafts and manage CV versions.
- Include an optional photo in supported templates.
- Provide CV checklists and job-description keyword comparisons.
- Import and export backup files.
- Display and measure advertisements.
- Support advertising security and fraud prevention.
- Respond to support requests.
5. Sharing and Exporting Information
When you export a PDF, DOCX, or backup file, it may contain the personal information you entered. Backup files may include multiple drafts and profile photos.
You decide where to save exported files and whether to share them. If you send a document through another app, upload it to a website, or save it to a cloud service, that service’s privacy policy applies.
We do not sell the contents of your CV or profile photo. Advertising providers may separately disclose advertising-related information to their partners. Depending on applicable law, some advertising practices may qualify as a “sale,” “sharing,” or targeted advertising.
We may disclose information we hold, such as support correspondence, where required by law or reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety, or security.
6. Permissions and Local Storage Technologies
The App may request access to a photo you select or a file you choose to import. These features use your device’s photo or file-selection tools.
The App uses local storage to remember saved drafts. Advertising services may use SDK identifiers, cookies, or similar technologies where supported. Their use is subject to the relevant provider’s policies, device settings, and applicable consent requirements.
7. Your Choices and Privacy Rights
You can:
- Edit your CV details.
- Replace or remove a profile photo.
- Delete individual drafts or all saved CVs through the App.
- Export documents or download a backup.
- Manage advertising identifiers and tracking permissions through supported device settings.
- Use the privacy choices and request procedures provided by Unity and AppLovin.
Clearing the App’s temporary image cache does not delete saved drafts. Deleting a draft does not delete exported documents, external backups, or information already held by advertising providers.
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to certain processing, withdraw consent, or opt out of targeted advertising or qualifying sale or sharing.

8. Data Retention and Security
Local drafts remain until you delete them or your device or browser removes the App’s stored data. Uninstalling the App or clearing its data may remove drafts. Device backups and exported files may retain separate copies.
Support messages are retained only as reasonably needed to respond to requests, maintain relevant records, and meet applicable obligations. Advertising providers determine retention under their own policies.
The App relies on your device’s and browser’s security protections. No storage or transmission method is completely secure. Protect your device and keep exported CVs and backup files in a safe location.
9. International Processing
Unity, AppLovin, and their partners may process advertising-related information in countries outside Pakistan or your country of residence. Their privacy policies describe their international processing practices and applicable safeguards.
10. Children’s Privacy
The App is intended for users aged 13 and older and is not directed to children under 13.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided information to us, please contact [email protected].
Additional age-related protections and consent requirements may apply in some countries. A minimum age of 13 does not remove those requirements.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when the App’s features, services, or legal requirements change. The revised policy will show an updated effective date. Additional notice will be provided where required by applicable law.
