π©βπ³ Step-by-Step Instructions
Step 1: Knead the Mix
In a large bowl, combine 400g Keema, grated onion, breadcrumbs, garlic paste, Salt, Cumin Powder, and Chilli Flakes.
Step 2: Massage Well
Use your clean hands to knead the mixture like dough for 4-5 minutes. This makes the meatballs smooth and ensures they won’t crack open during frying.
Step 3: Shape the KΓΆfte
Take small portions of the meat mix and roll them between your palms. Flatten them slightly into small oval or round disc shapes (about 2 inches wide).
Step 4: Pan Fry
Heat 2 tablespoons Oil in a flat frying pan on medium-high heat. Place the shaped patties gently inside the pan.
Step 5: Golden Crust
Fry for 3-4 minutes on one side until a beautiful dark golden crust forms. Flip them over and cook the other side for another 3 minutes until fully juicy and cooked through. Serve hot with dip!
π‘ Pro Tip For Your App Users
Tip: Always squeeze out and discard the water from the grated onion before adding it to the minced meat. Extra onion water makes the keema loose and hard to shape!
